Victorian gothic oak chair

A sturdy late 19th century chair circa 1880 made from English oak. Recovered in burgundy rexin ,possibly 30 years ago but still in good condition.Seat is sprung with a hessian covering to the underside, again in very good condition. The structure is solid with no loose joints and finish is of a medium polished and waxed oak.
There are some small 'wood chips' to the bottom of front legs due to use and age.
This chair came from Hastings Town Hall, East Sussex several years ago - Hastings Town Hall was built in 1881.
