Early bentwood chairs

Three Decorative bentwood chairs circa 1900 made by the Emferes company, Czechoslovakia ,probably under license from Thonet .
Made from steamed beech to allow for the bending process, these have much of their original polished finish. We could have stripped these back and re-polish but decided to keep the authenticity of these more scarce chairs of this particular design. There are some marks due to wear on these.
There is an ilustration of this design albeit in the high chair form in the Thonet Bentwood Ilustrated Catalogue 1904 published by Dover ,New York 1980.

Height 89cm, height of seat 46cm, seat diameter 41cm.
