Ladderax single bay 1960s

British mid-century "Ladderax" shelving system.

Very flexible, teak veneer and black powder coated steel shelving uprights by Staples & Co., London 1960s.This stylish practical product was designed by Robert Heal (of the Heals store family) in the 1960s and manufactured in England.

This single bay set has been fully refurbished by ourselves and is offered in good condition.

It has adjustable nylon feet to deal with uneven floors. The set is in good condition with some historical marks from age and use. .

The lockable storage cupboard comes with two original anti-tip hooks , that are discreetly attached to the ladders for extra stability and safety. The interior is veneered in birds-eye maple. .

All the shelves and unit can be simply re-arranged to suit your preference.

Size 201cm height, width 93cm, depth 35.5cm.

Please note if you have a skirting board, this will need to be under 17cm in height to give clearance room for the back of ladders.
