Ladderax 60s narrow bay unit

British mid-century "Ladderax" shelving system.

Very flexible, teak veneer and newly black powder coated steel shelving uprights  by Staples & Co., London 1960s.This stylish practical  product was designed by Robert Heal (of the Heals store family) in the 1960s and manufactured in England. 

It has adjustable nylon feet to deal with  uneven floors. The set is in  good condition with just a  few marks from age and use and has been refurbished by ourselves .  .

The  storage unit comes with two original anti-tip hooks , that are discreetly attached to the ladders for extra stability and safety. Its interior is veneered in afromosia wood. There is also a new key that fits the working lock.
