Art Deco Modernist armchairs by PEL

Pair of matching armchairs made by PEL, 1932 -4, England. Model SP9 finished in chrome plated steel and recovered in cream vinyl. Both chairs have their original PEL labels.

The cantilevered chairs are structurally sound , with some wear to the chrome plating and few marks to upholstery.

Classic chairs in the 'modernist' style from nearly 100 years ago, but still retaining a fresh contemporary look.
