Arne Jacobsen early 'Ant' chair

A rare 'Ant chair' model 3100, finished in rosewood veneer on shaped plywood shell. Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1952 for the Danish firm of Fritz Hansen. Makers marks underside. The chair we are offering is an early one c1960 which certainly makes it a rarity..

In good condition but there is a small historical repair to the edge (see image), which is thankfully hard to see.Seat height 46cm.
